Picked the guys up from Newcastle Airport at 8:30am and we decided to drive North instead of returning to Newcastle. Had slight technical difficulty with car in the morning.. windows, central locking and radio all stopped working. Think its a fuse blown.. but why? Will try to replace on way up... gonna be a long trip with no radio!
We drove North to Buledalah then turned off towards Seal Rocks. One of the guys, Boe, wanted to check out some beaches he had read about.. Bluey's and Boomerang. We had never been there before, and as this trip is about exploring new places, we decided to check them out.
1st stop was Bluey's, where I took the above photo, then we went to Boomerang, where we surfed for a couple of hours in nice clean 3ft waves.
Next stop will probably be Old Bar.. we will probably spend night at Crescent Head.
